Coming to us from the northern outskirts of Bangkok is quite straightforward.

Regardless of where you start, you will need at some point to get on Wiphavadi Rangsit Road and head south towards central Bangkok.

Go past Future Park and keep going for about 5 minutes until you see Carrefour on your right and Zeer on your left.

Very soon you will approach a fork. Keep to the left and you will be on Phahon Yothin Road. Continue straight ahead and, if possible, get on the short elevated section.

Try to keep track of the soi numbers on the left.

Turn left into soi 60, park wherever convenient and follow the directions as per the map.

From all points along Ram Intra Road, head west to Bang Khaen roundabout.

When you reach Bang Khaen roundabout, turn right and continue north on Phahon Yothin Road.

Almost immediately you will see a large Tesco Lotus store on your right. Keep going and pass through Saphan Mai.

After about 5km you will go over a small bridge and the road will become much wider. About 3 or 4 minutes later you will see the Air Force Academy on your right and the Air Force Museum on your left.

The road will then veer left and you will approach an elevated section. Do not take this section; instead, continue underneath and on your left you will pass a Caltex station, followed by an Esso station, followed shortly after by another Caltex station and a Toyota garage.

Do a U-turn just after the Toyota garage, turn left into Soi 60 and follow the directions as per the map.

Getting here from Mo Chit or Chatuchak is quite straightforward but may take anything up to half an hour or more.

Basically, just get on Wiphavadi Rangsit Road and head north. Follow the signs to Don Muang airport and after 15 minutes or so you will pass Laksi Plaza (IT Square) on your left.

Go straight past Don Muang airport on your right and continue for another 4 or 5 minutes until you see Carrefour on your left and Zeer on your right.

About 2km or so later you will reach a U-turn bridge. Go over this bridge and start heading back to central Bangkok.

Just after passing Zeer again you will approach a fork. Keep to the left and you will be on Phahon Yothin Road. Continue straight ahead and try to keep track of the soi numbers on the left.

Turn left into soi 60 and follow the directions as per the map.

From Nonthaburi, the best way to get here is to follow Chaeng Wattana Road.

Depending on where you start, you may pass Tesco Lotus and Mongkut Wattana Hospital on your left.

At the end of Chaeng Wattana Road you will see Laksi Plaza (IT Square) on your left. Turn left into Wiphavadi Rangsit Road and head north. Very soon you will pass Don Muang airport on your right.

Keep going straight ahead for another 4 or 5 minutes and you will see Carrefour on your left and Zeer on your right.

Continue for another couple of km or so and you will reach a U-turn bridge. Go over this bridge and start heading back to central Bangkok.
